Are sport seat and comfort seat mechanisms the same?

My seat mechanisms don't like to stay locked into position after adjusting the backrest. I tried blowing them out with the air compressor and lubing them up but I'm still having issues.

It would be easy to find comfort seat mechanisms from the junkyard. The question is are they the same as the sport mechanisms?

I am not sure if they are the same, but I do have a pair of trashed sports seats with good adjusters. PM me if you're interested.
