    Interior upgrade questions

Recently gutted the interior of my e30 and now am looking at options to make it a little nicer than just bare floors before I put in the new seats. Has anyone done floor covering with the sound dampening materials or undercoated the floors of there car? Its not going to be a daily driven car the plan is to put a bolt in cage soon. Opinions would be great!

I have the front floorboards and part of the trans tunnel coated in herculiner on my car. i also painted the remaining floor/roof/etc with epoxy primer and a nice single stage zinno paint. also flocked the dash, cleaned up wiring, removed unecessary brackets, removed the sunroof an plugged the hole, and removed glue and sound deadening, etc. i'm honestly really happy with how it turned out. there is a link to my build thread in my sig, if you'd like to get some ideas and/or give me feedback that would be awesome. make sure to post up your progress somewhere.

I've done under padding and a custom carpet out of flex carpet. It's really light and flexible, but it won't hold up to daily foot traffic. You could also use something called HydroTurf. It's used for jetskis and it holds up very well, it's also a foam so it will help with the sound. You can get it with glue already on the back of it so it's easier to install.
