I want to redye my seats which are indigo blue (in an E30). Any tips on the best place to buy the dye and any pointers on how to go about doing it?

There are a few companies that offer redye kits for leather seats. Leatherique is one that comes to mind.
If you want the right color, you will most likely need to send them a sample so you get a good match.
Not sure I understand the comment above as any used seats are going to require a certain amount of refinishing as well.-Justin

That color isn't as rare as I'd hoped. I've been trying to trade mine for black for a while. I think I'm going to go the dye route as well. Updates would be awesome if you've figured something out already.Comment

This buy has a good write up on restoring seats, I think this might be helpful for you.Comment

I am in the same boat as you with my seats.
Unfortunately I am also dealing with a few tears (convertible + sun)
May have the tears repaired and then look into a Leatherique dye kit. I see they offer a LRP Dark Blue.
Going to email them
Looks like Kevin at creative options is a good source for the dye

Kevin has seemingly fallen off the radar.
Ninestitch seems to be the new interior outfit.
Lots of write ups on leatherique and similar type products beyond tje5se forums. Like any paint job, prep work is crucial. I have seen poor durability though on some.Comment
