my vote is no on the carbon fiber, but the one of the picture above is nice. What is the price on that one above.

Metal can get very cold. I use to have a metal knob and when it was below freezing the knob was very cold.

The carbon one is sick (in a bad way). My vote is for the e36/46 plain black leather.

              knobs

I run a metal one from BMW....temp is never a big deal at all.

The TMS cf is nice......moreso w/o the insignia!

they both are very different though!.......what is your car like.....rough and ready, or cool and classy?.....

I just say it depends on your interior. Metal if it's more stock. CF if you've got other CF accents.

BTW, there's a CF one FS on BF.

my car is beat on, i just needed a knob. nothing in the entire is modified. the carbon fiber just looks cool, but it seems like it sits low. im ordering a new shift boot too.

I vote for the alum one, though I'm actually partial to leather. Still, the CF one just doesn't look like it belongs on this car.

I vote for the aluminum e36 knob, but it would look funky without an aluminum ebrake handle.

Why not get a normal one or a cheaper one and use the leftover money to make your car less beat??

i can get a shitty stock rubber E30 one for $25 shipped, or i can get the e36 metal one for $40 shipped or the TMS carbon fiber for $65... i'd rather spend some extra money and get a really nice shift knob. i have been ordering parts to fix this up. getting a hood, got all new locks, still tring to find a new drivers door/passengers mirror.

i think i decided on the E36 knob, its classier.
