    Vader Seat Switcheroo

I am close to buying vader seats for my e30. However, neither of them are driver seats. Is there a way to convert a passenger to seat to a drivers side seat?

I tried searching for an answer to my conundrum but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks!

    Yikes! Talk about crickets...

I went a head and bought the passenger seat, I lucked out and the guy also threw in a regular M3 sedan drivers in too! So I know have two seats all for $120!!!

Is there a way to switch up the seats so I have the Vader seat for the driver and the regular seat for the passenger? Can I exchange the hardware?

    Here are some photos:

I would guess this is not something worth all of the effort to do. I've never seen anyone convert them. Even basic aftermarket manual seats are one side or another for a reason. I think the base has to be specific to that side. Maybe if you got a cheap driver side seat base from a non vader seat you could swap parts around....

Hmmm, there has to be a way. I will try to take them apart this weekend and figure something out.

I am too cheap to spend anymore on seats anyway!

You would need all the plastic covers and handles from a driver seat at the VERY least. I kinda doubt the frames are the same. You really are better off getting a driver's seat.
