    Mtech1 wheel spacer?

Has anyone ever made a spacer to extend the Mtech1 steering wheel out towards the driver? I was thinking of cutting up some junkyard wheel to get the splines and using an inch or two of it. But then I thought about the welding and the fact that the male spline shaft would then have to be longer than it is, not to mention the splines are tapered. And I also realize the turn signals probably won't turn off anymore.

Any suggestions or solutions to extending the Mtech1 wheel out so my knees don't hit it anymore?

    P.S. I don't want another style wheel.

Bump because I'm also curious about doing this. I wish the wheel was just an inch closer to me.

The conclusion I've come to, is to buy a hub adapter and have it properly bolted to the back of your Mtech1 wheel thus, not permanently ruining it.

This link will give you ideas.

And this link is what I would use.
