Even if you get something light like 35% with UV elimination it makes a HUGE difference in the car, HUGE. Run some tint and a BMW sunshade everywhere you park and there is no reason you should have a faded interior or cracked dash. Crack the sunroof on a hot day and the car is more than bearable to get into.
    Im now E30less.

That's the whole reason I want a subtle tint to my car. The sun here in boise is REALLY harse on cars in the summer. The most I can do, other than putting a cover on the car (which would really suck) would be to tint the windows. A windshield shade helps a ton too. I have to protect my perfect dash!! :D

here at school i always throw my car cover on, because most of the time the e30 sits in the parking lot for a week or so without me driving it. It still fires up everytime though :)

I vote tint. I have 35% all around (legal limit).

Black leather interior in Hawaii makes having no tint unbearable.

This is my windows tint...they are too black, i don't like it to much, since in that moment was the only clouor available I got it, also the guy puuted them for free, he works for me in the shopp tinting the new sold Vehicles in my shopp. Some day i will take it out and put lighter films...

I'm tinting my car this summer..40%
I've got the fishbowl effect goin' on now, and a think 40% would be nice yet somewhat subtle tint.
