Does anyone else's A/C switch get hot?

I noticed it shortly after I bought the car. The A/C on/off switch and recirculate buttons get pretty hot when they are engaged. Yesterday I was driving home and I turned them both off and the recirculate button actually burned the tip of my finger in the short time that I touched it. It kinda seems like it is heat from the lights, but I dunno for sure.
