E30 Boss kit hub adapter help

So I decided to be cheap and bought an eBay hub adapter instead of a momo and it doesn't seem to work very well (surprise). The oem hub slides on an off the splines with ease, this has to be pushed really hard and resists going on. Anyone have an idea of what to do, aside from forcing it on?

I have the same problem with mine .
It's a nightmare to put on and take off

Sounds like the spline wasn't cut correctly, probably not deep enough.
