VW GTI Recaro Seats

Any pics of these in an E30?
Any fitment tips (swapping brackets, drilling, etc.)?
I understand some of them have power controls, can you get these to work easily in the E30?

The mk2 grey cloth are OK, but the GTI ones with vinyl or leather bolsters and grey centers are the pimp. Think they are called trophy seats.

I have the MK2 Seats in my 318is, they are pretty comfortable but they dont have that great of support, the e21 recaros offer much better cornering support

I would be interested on the mounting, as I have 6 sets of MKII brackets and if they would cross over to e30 that would be awesome. I was thinking about screwing with them this weekend. Look for the all grey ones they have plenty of grip!!!!

Not enough cornering support? Those side bolsters are about 7 inches deep. I've got two sets and I like them better than my fixed-back MOMO. If they are in the 250ish range I'd say pick 'em up.

Yeah, Mk2 seats have more/better support than any e30 seat and are more comfortable.

europeanplates - Aren't you in the PacNW, I have a set in my car so you could see what needs to be done. The Mk2 brackets can be thrown away, you need custom made brackets and the stock e30 sliders.
