From Tan To Black Interior.. With Pics.

I just got sick of my normal cream colored interior. It looked tired and I wanted sport seats. I really prefered the vinyl for the way it wears and it's pretty comfortable too. The car came with burgandy carpet, which matches the exterior. It's not my favorite, but it's better than tan and it's actually growing on me( a little). Still would rather have black or charcoal carpet though.

I painted the rear deck and kick panels and they came out great. I already had some generic black floor mats, and that was the finishing touch.

Looks great. That vinyl is in great condition. I guess they hold up very well over time.

Thanks guys. I guess I forgot to mention that it took a half day of prep and painting to get the seats looking like that. They were in good overall shape. I had to patch 3 holes and sand and paint the seat frames. They were all rusted and nasty. Looks much better now. :p

The black with the cardinal carpet looks pretty good! I like it! Offers some nice contrast!

It's still a work in progress, and it's dirty. I've only put around 250 miles on it since I bought it in february. I can't wait to get it finished.

Is that factory carpet, or did someone custom cut some generic carpet to fit? If it is factory, there should be yellow molded foam under the carpet.

Someone put in in. It isn't the greatest quality carpet, but replacing it is low on the list of items to replace right now. Plus, I'd rather rock the red carpet than the factory tan. ;-)

Nice, Ben. Where did you pick up the seats?
