    air bag steering wheel???

I have a 90' 325is and i have an SRS airbag steering wheel and i was wondering if i can just take off the steering wheel and airbag and replace it with an Mtech 1 that my buddy has. If I can do this, is there anything special I have to do like bypass the airbag or something like that?

    thanks

no, you don't need to bypass the airbag, but your SRS light on your check panel will blink without the airbag steering wheel.

Also, I believe you need to add a certain part to the stack on the rack otherwise your steering wheel will click back and forward. This is because the airbag steering rack is a little longer, by like half a centimeter.

I have a spare non-SRS check panel I can deliver to you for what you think it's worth, I'm thinking like $15 Where do you live? Anywhere off the 405?

Put the wheel on then put about .5"-1" of washers on top, then the big nut.

You will also have to pull out #11 otherwise known as the little white plastic stick with a spring on it thingy

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
