Good to hear that my design isn't totally out of wack. What do you mean when you said that you "welded them to a set of E30 Sliders"? What did you weld to the sliders? the cross pieces?

I removed the seat from the bracket/slider. From there I welded a piece of metal to mount the rectangular bracket to.
