    E30 318ti Dash Conversion??

Has anyone attempted this or know if this is possible?

I noticed how much the 318ti dash resembles an E30 dash and I've heard how the 318ti and E30 chasis are share alot of similarities so it has made my curious.

The E36 is wider than the E30, it won't fit. There have been a few guys overseas that have done an E36 dash into an E30, but it takes MAJOR modification, and looks like shit.

      Seriously, don't bother.

i second that. A guy named Johan Janssen did it. He wasn't crazy about it. and it looked okay, but was not worth the work. look him up on www.e30.de for pictures.

I put an A2 Jetta dash in a VW Rabbit cabrio once. It looked awesome, but it was a giant PITA.

            Can anyone flip that photo?

If anything, I would want to do it the other way round. The e30 has better hvac controls and the plastic is of much higher quality.

Man, he could have at least used an E36 dash without the passenger side airbag!
