Illuminated shift knob insert

I have the old style mushroom shifter and wanted the insert.

The knob is illuminated. Anyone know that part #?

The insert is translucent.

I tried realoem.

There isn't a illuminated insert. You'll have to buy the entire tacky knob, not just an insert.

Robrez I really appreciate your input but I don't believe that is the right part.

Yes, that is design to fit the mushroom shiftknob, but the backing appears to be solid and wont allow the LED lights to radiate.

This might be a NLA but clearly, those that are selling refurbished knobs are getting the insert from some place.

Worse case, I am thinking of taking a dermal to this: 25112231554




Note if you google that version, you'll see the word "transparent". Its a totally different insert even though it looks the same.
