I need to pull the headliner in my car to check the roof for rust so I can create a plan of attack on fixing the rust spots on my roof. The only instructions I could find online say I need to remove the windshield and all other windows. Is that really true? is there not other way to remove the headliner without pulling the windshield out? Although I am confident I can do this, I'm not too keen on the idea of having to remove so much glass and making it all seal up properly again...

Front windshield did not need to come out for mine. I pulled it out anyway and cracked it putting out back in. All the other windows did have to come out. Probably depends on where you get your replacement.

I went ahead and simply cut out the headliner...I am having to repair some rust holes formed around the sunroof due to a wind deflector collecting water and rusting through...Already ordered a sunroof delete panel so I figured I might as well just go through with it.Comment
