Headliner Help

I have a 1987 325is with a sunroof delete.

I need to find the tension rods used to hold up the headliner in a model without a sunroof. where can I find them and what is the part actually called?


Will I have to cut out my cassette to make it work? it didn't look like I would have clearance issues but I figured I would ask.

Pretty sure you are looking for #7 here:

However, it looks like they might be NLA, although ECS Tuning does not list them as such. You should also attempt to remove the sunroof cassette if you are converting to a slicktop.

I've got a slick top shell I still have the headliner in that I am striping. If interested I'll see if I can salvage them for you. PM if interested..
