Dash cover/cap

Has anyone purchased a dash cap for a cracked dash? Wondering how it looks or if I should just live with the cracks. Had one on an old benz and it creaked.

My car has one on it that the PO installed and it's probably better than the cracks but I would just swap in a good dash. That's what Im going to do.
