seat doesnt bow forward or raise up, can it be fixed?

    seat doesnt bow forward or raise up, can it be fixed?

    of of my sport seats doesnt bow forward to let people in and out the back. the seat also does not raise or lower. Again, can it be fixed?

    yea, it can be fixed. Take the back off and inspect the cables, The ends will pop off the cables rendering them useless

      Theres 2 black screws at the bottom of the back panel, take them out and then swing it out and down.
      Cables should be accessible or at least visible

        damn, my seats are messed up too, but it will lean forward, but it wont stay like the clip isnt engaging to hold the seat up. and it wont slide forward, so on friday i have some work to do. anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong? i still have to pull the lever to get the seat forward, but it wont lock in a vertical position.

          well looks like the metal cord on the right side is broken... probably unrepairable :(

            Locate some 2 door seats in a junk yard.
            The cables are replaceable.
            Alot better than replacing the whole seat.
