hello quick question, are all e30 sunroofs supposed to open all the way(just like it shows in the pic) if you turn clockwise , or its not for every e30 that has a sunroof? thank you
Yes they are, as long as you dont break the cable.
I would suggest you clean the area around and lubricate the track at least once a year with 3-in-1 or chain grease.

Thank you. Mine just makes huge cracking noises while the handle moves, but the sunroof doesn’t move at all :( Will try to find the problem today
