    Driver side floor damp

I know I'll need to pull the carpet eventually to diagnose but wondering if anyone had a similar situation. The carpet feels like it is getting more and more wet as I drive the car. Doesn't seem to be anything leaking from up top or the sides. Feels like it's coming from the bottom up but I can't tell for sure at the moment until the carpet is removed.

Heater core and valve were both replaced and the transmission tunnel area has been dry since.

I also park my car indoors and have only driven on sunny days the last couple months. It's a clearish fluid, sticky, and smells kind of like cleaning agent(detergent) but not as strong. It's especially damp near dead pedal area and seems to spread to the gas pedal and towards the front seat.

Again i've only driven in dry weather.

Check the HVAC box drains. There are three of them under the box. They tend to crack and will leak under the carpet
