Rear seat protector / no rear head rests

So, looking for a dog friendly rear seat protector for our “new” iX sedan. Unfortunately, all of the ones I see out there depend on rear head rests, which are really annoying for the driver.

Has anyone found a decent solution that doesn’t depend on the headrests?

    Here’s an example generic protector:

Could you pull the seat back off and attach it behind it? That probably wouldn't work as well if you want to take it out when not in use.

      Yeah... That’s too much hassle.
