new needles from porsche cayanne T to e30

well i had a guage cluster from a 2004 porsche laying aroud and i thought the needles would look cool on my guages in my e30 so i took them both apart and retro fitted them to mine took alot of work to get them to fit on properly but it was done.
! too bad the needles were to heavy for the e30 guages to lift them the tach needle was bouncy and the speedo coudnt even lift it so all that work for nothing but it still look sweet ass. anyways thought i would share take a look.

I think they look pretty sweet for a mod that doesnt work. Combod with some chrome guage rings and itd be money.

yeah i dunno why it didnt work it seemed to perfect, to havey wtf is that i was dissapointed, but i got some needles from a e30 m3 cluster and put those in so it looks pretty badass.:p

yeee when i used to work for porsche, there was a cayanne( i think thats how u spell it) anyways it came in the shop and it had a small scratch on the front caseing so service ended up throwing it in as warrenty so they gave the customer the new one and put his one in the garbage so i just scooped it up and took it home.

i know that would be a huge gas tank. but i was just wondering what it stood for and such. do you have any ideas?

im pretty sure all the e30's that came to canada has the gas gauge in liters. not gallons .lol.
