    Roll Cages & Comfortable interiors

Here's the original thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=57803, if you're wondering why I'm suddenly asking about roll-cages. Please try to keep off-topic posts to a minimum, or stick them in the general discussion thread (that's why I posted it).

Once again, I will say this: Please respond! (if you think you'll be wasting your time, you're not. I am DAMN serious. I know you tech guys are out there.)

For an S50'd BMW, hopefully putting a fair amount of ponies to the ground, basically I don't want to die. Flat out. Sparco Milanos, or a close equivalent will be installed, along with the Schroth racing harnesses. How many points do I need to be looking at with the roll cage?

Mind you, I would prefer this car look as stockish as possible, even though that will be hard to do, I don't want to have an obtrusive cage in there and make it uncomfortable for my passenger, this car will still be a daily driver. As such, what have you seen/done to your backseat to keep a pretty stock look?

If you have any other seat suggestions, please let me know them aswell.

Thank you. Your suggestions are sincerely appreciated.

I wouldnt bother with a cage for a car that sees a lot of street use. look for a bolt in roll bar a la VSR.

Safety is key. Like I said, I don't want to die. Added precautions are necessary when adding horsepower like I will be doing. Not only in the event of a rollover, but with general chassis stiffening aswell.

If it truly will not be needed, then let it be heard, and I'll spend the cash elsewhere.

like rob said stick to a bolt in bar with a hahrness bar. Full cages are dangerous for un-helmeted heads.
                Im now E30less.
