    Feeler: Alcantara Mtech2 Wheel

Just trying to gauge interest in a new alcantara mtech2 wheel. Would anyone be interested? What would be a fair price for one?

    Let me know...

I'd love one, but they're usually valued at well over $300, sometimes even $400. If you're willing to let it go for something like $150, shit, I'll buy it. I don't have the money to spend $300+ on wheel, but good luck with the sale.

Theres a guy on eBay who sells all kinds of cool OS stuff and he also offers the MT2 steering wheels .

He offers the smaller 270 ones and he gives the winner the option to chose either the sportEvo suedo version or the regular leather wrapped one .
          Same price .

Usually starts them out low with no reserve and they can be had for two something to upwards of $400 depending on how the bidding goes .

The same guy has an awesome set of brand new M5 calipers that I'm lusting after .
But there are too many jackasses upping the bid early . :tsk:
          I'll more than likely pass . :(

Well if what I'm planning works out, I'm willing to let go of a minty-fresh 385mm alcantara mtech2 wheel for $250 +s/h in a couple weeks or so.

            Any takers?

The guy you are talking about goes by ' arainman' -Rich Dorfer is his real name - I've dealt with him before, but I really only deal with Don McAdams in FL now - the other guy is nice enough, but he's spreading some grey-area misinformation about the Sport Evo fabric being NLA to drive his auctions up. Last I saw he got just over $140 a yard for it. Normal retail is ~$85-ish / yard.
Don McAdams is: http://shop.mcadamsautosport.com/ - real great guy and part of the S14.net community, always a nice guy and willing to share what he knows.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

I imagine that's why he'd let it go for only $250
