    Seat foam

Just started taking a spare stock e30 cloth sport seat apart to see what it will take to recover it in different material, so far doesn't look too bad.

Question is, can one still purchase new bolster foam from a dealer or somewhere else ?

Take the bolster pieces to a shop that does auto upholstery (a GOOD one), and they can cut and shape new bolsters out of new foam for you for probably a lot less than new ones would cost.

You actually probably wouldn't even be able to get them individually from BMW. You can probably only buy a whole new seat.

I thought it would be actually cheaper to buy them new, as the labor involved to make them would be expensive but i'll give a couple shops a call. :)
