Yards of fabric needed to re-upholster front and rear seats?

    In both a non-M and an M E30 w/ sport seats.

I know 3 hides of leather, but how much fabric (cloth/vinyl)?

Sorry. I'm not online much on the weekend (something called a family!) ;)

Just in case you don't get my PM, I'd say about 60 sq ft will do the front seats (assuming you reuse their backs), another 100 for the 2 rear pieces.

Of the 60 front, around 15-20 of that is for the centers, rest for the bolsters.

Good luck my friend - love to see some pics. Any more questions, just ask.

A couple more things - you mentioned non-M, meaning non-sport seats? I'm not sure about those, but you can get nice interiors for not a lot of $ (I have a nice grey cloth set), so no need to both redoing those.

Also note, fabric comes in roughtly 4.5 foot rolls, and you buy it by the yard, so a yard is 3' x 4.5' = 13.5 sq ft.

For the rear centers, about the same -15 to 20 sq ft. Unless the material you get is super expensive, its always best to have extra, in case you mess up or for later (to do accent pieces, repairs, etc.).
