    interior trim

some e46's come with the option of aluminum trim, i like the look of this with an entirely black interior, has anyone attempted or done the center consoles and door handles this color. i pretty much changed my entire interior to black now and want to offset the darkness, i just want some opinions before i start painting anything, i know its ultimatley my decision but i do appreciate anyones input on this. Thanks

I am sure you could do something with your interior to get this aluminum effect you want but you cant just paint your center cousole aluminum and have it look good. I dond think what i am about to say will look good but its an idea. Take out your HVAC panel and paint that along with that panel above the steering wheel and under the guage cluster, add some strip on the glove box with some thing that accents this on your center cousel and call it a day. I like how e46's have this but i dont think there is any way to make it look good in an e30. Good luck but please dont just spray paint your center consoles.

      Glue aluminum foil to it.

      Okay, no...check out this.

And an eBay auction for them.

They do offer brushed aluminum, click on "Installed Examples" for everything they have.

I like the wood inserts for the dash. Not to for sure about the center console though. Wood or aluminum would spice up the int.
