    What Steering Wheel Is This?

I've never seen this wheel before, but I think it's kinda cool. Does anyone know what cars it came on? This one's on an '84 Baur convertible, but there's no wheel on eBay I've ever seen like this.

It is an e30 interior, just a different model wheel.

LOL, I wasn't expecting anyone to like it. I thought it was kinda cool and different, although I like the M-Tech 1 wheel more.

It's from a 633. It makes me think of a newer Volvo wheel. That's funny, this is the exact wheel I was wondering about in the thread I made earlier today. I guess now I know it fits. :)

On a somewhat unrelated note, I am actually looking to buy one of these wheels, but the one I'm looking at does not have a roundel, it's just a hole in the middle. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement? Could I just use the one that's on my MtechI wheel?

And one more thing... Approx how much does it cost to get a wheel recovered (leather, and also how much w/ Alcantara)?

                    Thanks

I don't know about the roundel, but around here, when I called a few places about getting my wheel reupholstered, hardly anyone would do it. The one place that would was going to charge around $350! Maybe you'll have better luck, but I'd just find another steering wheel in good shape--that's what I'm going to do.

It did some on the e30, mainly in europe. They pop up on e30.de and ebay.de sometimes.

So I got my hands on one of these, but it doesn't seem to fit... It's very possible that I'm doing something wrong (however I don't think so because my MTech I just pops right back on). Are there multiple models?

The same diffence goes with e28 wheels.
So your wheel must be older than 9/85, you can identify it by looking if it has locking machanism for the steering lock, older has lock on column, 9/85 has the lock teeth on steering wheel, all e30's have this "new" type wheel.

                            BMW 320i 2d 2.0 m20 -88
                            BMW 325i Cabriolet 2.5 m50 -88
                            BMW 316i touring 1.6 m40 -90
