    question on cloth, non sport seats

    I have a set, front and back cloth non sport seats and i also have a pair of vinyl non sports in perfect shape...it seems as if the vinyl seats are filled with what looks like a...i dont know shards of like shredded rubber??? and the cloth look like there foam inside, the cloth are out of an 84 and the vinyl are out of an 85. now the cloth ones are completely trashed, i was wondering if these foam ones are better??? im not sure whats up with the vinyl ones, but there not comfortable at all, should i switch the skins over????

    The backs of the non-sports have a sort of bonded fibrous support system, and the bottoms are foam. The covering materials are usually unbacked on the bolsters (ie just straight cloth or vinyl is put over the foam bolster) whereas the centers usually have padding under the cloth/vinyl.

    The vinyl wears like iron, but can also feel like iron.

    Best bet is to do some searches in the FS section and you can get some good stuff, in good shape, for pretty cheap.
