One mtech steering wheel badge?

Probably a stupid question, but I didnt find anything in the search about this. Why, in the 318is, 325es, 325is and M3 3 spoke steering wheels, did BMW not make 3 motorsport badges in the three spoke steering wheel? Theres one in the lower space, but not one in the left and right spaces for them. I have confirmed such with various pics of m3 steering wheels on the internet. Whats up with that?

Those spaces on the left and right spokes were NOT made for those small /// badges. The ones you've seen that are like that are ones that people added. It looks stupid as hell. It was only meant to have the one at the bottom, ask anyone here.
