ok so my instrument cluster has the lights that illuminate the speedo and the fuel gauge burnt out, can i change them some how? if so, how and where can i buy the bulbs? and the clear plastic cover is broken, anyone know if i have to buy the whole cluster or can i just purchase the plastic cover, anyone know where? The bulbs could be jacked from a spare cluster. Easiest if you pull the cluster.

Cluster face busted? Find a good one, or spring the 170 bucks for a new one.

If you're made of money, you could probably get one from the dealer, or maybe someone with a crapped out cluster will sell you their plastic cover...post in the wanted section

has anyone thought about SI board batteries yet? they are a very common problem of gauge failure, and pretty easy to replace especially if you have already removed the instrument cluster before. search for "si board batteries" on this forum, another forum, or google, and you will find plenty of information.

when they si board batteries go dead, an open in the circuit can be created to the gauges to malfunction.
