    Cannot remove Momo Hub

I tried to swap out a Momo wheel with an M-Tech tonight and ran into a bit of a problem. I got the 6 hex screws and the 22mm hub nut off no problem but the hub adapter would not budge. I tried prying it off the steering column a bit but was afraid of breaking something. Is it supposed to be this difficult?

My next option is to pick up a 3 arm puller and try that.

    Get a steering wheel puller.

Did you have the key turned on so that the steering wheel lock disengaged?

Sorry I don't think I was completely clear in my first post. I'm trying to remove the momo hub adapter to install the M-tech. I've got the hex nut off and removed the spacer. I can see the splines from the steering column but the hub won't budge. I guess I just didn't expect the hub to be on that hard since most everything I've seen online says it's a quick swap. It feels like this thing must have been pressed on the column really hard.

Oh,.. and I tried removing the hub with the column locked and unlocked with no difference. Anyway,.. I'm off to get a puller,... thanks for the advice!

Check all the splines on the column when you get it off. A couple flattened splines will make it a beyotch to get it off.

Well FYI it must be unlocked. It's the same theory as removing a regular E30 steering wheel.
