Just buy the headrests, and then get the brackets separately. That's what I did. I got the headrests on eBay for like $20 a while ago, and then Cam (Spaz) was able to get me some brackets for $30.

Personally I'm not planning on adding them to my cabrio and I've even dabbled with the thought of "shaving" the trunk-mounted 3rd brake light to clean up the rear deck. They do look nice on Aaron Silva's cabrio but he keeps his top up all the time.

I don't understand why rear headrests are so saught after. I can't even fit people in my back seat. When I am able to, it's a little 100 pound hottie along for a short ride anyway.

Thats how they end up looking since the rear seat is so high.

Yes, and foam inside the seats is already cut out for the brackets.

In a cab, with the top up you cant see anything anyway, and with it down you see everything, i dont think the headrest would make a difference.

I use my back see, if I didnt it would be easier to justify buying a S2000 and giving up e30's.

I would like to have them, but my rear seat is in such perfect shape that I don't want to mess with it.

True, if you ever change back seats, the old seat will be worthless with the holes in the top of it. But you could probably get a pretty penny if you sold the rear seat with the headrests.

It is not that bad if you take teh head rests out. I got plastic clips that clean up the top.

Why yes I have a houndstooth interior why? And my car that is now srtripped had rear head rests. They will soon be in my US car. Hate slippery leather, a good non slip lether would be nice but we don't have it.

My vote is thumbs up. I just gave some to Rob for his Cabrio.

My vote is NO headrests. IMO, they look bad in both convertibles and hardtops. Plus, my rear window is small as it is, so I don't need anything blocking my vision.

I'll strip some seats an you can refinish them with fabric but now way I am carry an interior back from Germany. Just to bulky, sorry. I might even stop doing parts here in the next month or two.

I just finished stripping my M-tech I car, a sad day.
