    wind tunnel:

hello all. this is my first post and i have a question that i need help with. i got lucky and found a really clean 89 vert that i am in love with. one of my major problems is that even with the top up my car sounds like a wind tunnel when i drive. is this because it is a old car or can i replace some of the seals to quite the air coming in. any answers would be great thanx. also the top is only 1 year old. i have never owned a vert befor maybe it is normal.
may not be faster but it is a hellava lot funner!!!!!:pimp::pimp: (free the fun, funner is a word)

I always noticed my car was slightly louder than my friends coupes. You could hear the air passing over the top much clearer in a convertible (makes sense). It wouldn't hurt to replace the seals because you'll be happy when you don't have water pouring into your lap like I have.

You might want to make sure that the top is sealing to the car (a frame [windshield]) correctly. When i first got my cabby, the top's frame was all bent out of whack, and it wouldn't seal to the winshield all the way... Made for a noisy ass time.

just a warning buying all new seals for a vert costs upwards of 300 dollars
