Shampooing / Cleaning OEM BMW Cloth?

I want to thoroughly shampoo / clean my Houndstooth cloth interior. What do you guys use to clean your interiors? Mine has a bit of a musky smell, as the seats etc have been in storage for a while. I want to get all the dusty / musky smell out of them.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'd say some kind of steaming action would be good for you. That's if you can find a hot lady. :D

If you have stains, Meguiar's Quick Out. You would probably want to steam clean the seats.

Any idea where I can go to get my seats steam-cleaned? Or is there a kit / tool / weapon / thing I can buy?

You would be better off finding a professional to do the job. But take a look at this:

Worth the $ if you detail a lot like I do.

Also, if you have some funky smells you want gone, you need to clean EVERYTHING: plastics, headliner, carpets, seats. After you do that, treat your ventilation system and interior with this:

              Good idea - thanks.

I have Febreze'd the interior and let it sit overnight, which helped a little, but it's still not perfect. I really think a good steaming will help.

How do I clean the actual carpeting without removing it from the car? I do mean the carpeting and not the floor mats.

              Thanks!

I just used Quick Out. Spray, let it sit for 10 minutes, work it in with a stiff brush, spray again, 10 minutes, work it in, let dry just a bit and vacuum really good. Again, that little green machine is what I would normally use, but I had to lend it to my brother for a while.

Febreeze only covers up the smell. What you want is to get rid of it.

Also, can you steam-clean cloth E30 door panels?

I ask because they have some sort of cardboard or similar backing, over which the cloth is stapled.

Yeah, just be careful and dry them with a towel after.
