    Dash Cap

Has anyone installed one of these over their existing dash? Is it difficult? How does it look once installed? Pictures?

    Thanks

    BUMP!!!!

I also need to know if anyone has done this. This looks like a good way to keep the dash where it is and just cover it to look nice, but I have to see just how nice it looks so I can take the plunge. Thanks for any input guys.

    lets get some replies :hitler:

do some searching about dash replacing or a variant of such. Someone on here had some pictures of theirs posted and to me it did not look to bad but for the price of the caps you can find a used dash in perfect shape alot of the time. I just finished a dash replacement on my car and was not hard it just took some time to do. I have a airbag car so there was more to do than a non airbag car and still took about 3.5 hours start to finish.

I have seen it on some E24 cars and you really can tell...

for the price of a good used dash, vs. the price of a dash cover, I would opt for the dash... my .02

My 85 came with one of these things. It fit and looked like ass. I tossed it in the trash and replaced my cracked dash with a clean one. I get a happy feeling every time I look at my perfect dash now.

It took me all of 10 minutes to get my old dash out and about an hour to redo some wiring and get the new dash in. I highly recommend replacing the dashboard.
