Complete interior revamp? What would you do?

I'm thinking about what all work one would put into the interior to clean it up and make it look great. Call it dream modding if you want, but if I score some more $$$ in scholarships, I'd put them towards my car, and one of the things would be the interior.

Some of the things along the line I was thinking was:
    Black headliner
    Dyed black rear shelf
    Black Carpet
    Black floormats
    2X Recaro Seats
Short shifter, leather ebrake handle, leather gators,
    Rear headrests
    M3 Rear seat

Anything else that could/should be done to clean up the interior of the E30?
I cannot really do anything to the exterior, as new paint is just waiting to be dinged/scratched at college.

    thanks

Carbon fiber door panels, No carpet, no rear seat, roll bar, 2 racing seats, harnesses.
Your list sounds pretty good, I don't care to much for the rear headrests but that is just me.

Don't get gauges in the ashtray spot. The last thing you want to do is look down when you're driving.

Go with Cloth Recaro's and suede boots.

No, or you can do ricer ones out of aluminum with sticker carbon fiber on them
If I knew where to get some they'd be in my car.

My choice if I had to revamp would be:

Dark grey cloth with black leather side bolsters and piping.
Rare E30 seats that Greg has (larger supports, look like VW Recaros)
E30 M3 rear seat in the same thing as fronts with rear headrests
Black pocketmaps/armrests on cloth dark grey doors.
                  Leather everything (e-brake, etc...)
                  Black headliner, rear shelf.
Dark grey carpet with black mats. Or would it look better with black carpet with dark grey mats? Either way I suppose.

Thats about it. I hate tan.
                  Reminiscing...

Don't forget the aquarium in the trunk and the PS2.

The only thing I'd do is probably have my seats reupholstered in some really nice gray cloth, not sure what it could be. Then maybe get all the carpet re-dyed in gray, get some new black floormats and black map-pockets with gray side-panels that have the cloth inserts (which would be gray). As well as a black headliner of course.

Contrast rules, and gray has REALLY grown on me. That, and I absolutely love cloth - it holds you in so damn well! :D

Changed my mind, don't really care about the back seat. Might go for headrests to make it pimp, but not switch it out.....because it's not really that important.

Does anyone know a way to re-sow the door panel's fabric in the seams, whatever? Parts of the stitching is undone.

As for the ashtray, no one fucking smokes in my cars......I'd want to replace it with a monitor perhaps. Privacy isn't really a feature in my life, so me and someone could catch some flicks somewhere else....... but I'll probably slap myself later and I used to always say TVs in cars are stupid......and might go back to that thought, I dunno.

Oh yeah. I'd need a CD player that lit up amber/red.....big difference in interior!

If I were to redo the interior, I would probably do something like this...

                          1. Recaro Ergomed DS seats in black leather
                          2. E30 M3 rear seats as well, black leather
                          3. slate gray carpet w/ matching mats with black stiching, or all black mats
                          4. electrolum. gauges, amber backlight to match
                          5. slate gray leather shifter boot & e-brake cover
                          6. MtechII steering wheel
                          7. Alpine CD/MP3 head unit

I could go on for days, but that's the gist (minus a few other things!)
