What I did is take all of the upholstery and foam off of the nice passenger seat and transfered them to a spare driver seat frame.

It will fit, the first thing you would need to swap if you are putting the whole seat from one side to another is swap the seat belt buckle from one side to another.

But then you will still have all of the seat adjustment controls on the wrong side...

Of course, I was just pointing out the first thing you would HAVE to do ;) The rest is up to the owner / convenience factor.

I have a passenger seat in the driver's spot on my 335ist right now. It's not that big of a deal having the seat controls on the other other side. As a matter of fact, it's just as difficult doing the adjustments, so i don't mind at all.

i had to move the seatbelt buckle to the other side. No big deal.

I have tried, it's really hard. There are no screws or bolts, everything is axles w/ circlips. that are very difficult to remove. I think it's rather impossible.

Do you just want the cushions on the other side or are you stuck on having the bracket over there too? You can swap just the cushions with some patience, a $15 tool and some upholstery rings.

I switched a passenger non-sport seat to the drivers side. Switched all the levers as well. You'd never know it was a passenger seat. It only took maybe 30min. Its very easy to do!
