The carpet looks really good. Did you get the dark grey/charcoal? Did your '84 have separate padding/insulation or was it attached to the original carpet? How is the carpet held in place?

Thanks for the info. I am thinking about getting a new rug from them, but wasn't sure if I would need to order the additional sound insulation. Real OEM says there is separate insulation up to 9/86 in the 325, but I guess I should stop being lazy and go take out part of the carpet and see what is underneath.

However, I would give it a 7 depending on the majority.
              Heres why:
No pre-cut holes, or side gaps for upper sill clips. Great for me cause i have custom seatbelt brackets, roll-bar, E36 seats, etc. and I don't mind cutting this out myself.
It says on their website none of the holes are cut. Make for a better fit as you cut it to fit your car. I personally see this as a plus, not a downside.

I lucked out finding a nice used carpet.
...Still curious if it fits well, though...

Bump from the grave. Just got my 318is back from paint and was looking to fix some loose ends. Car has what looked likes spilled coke in the passenger foot well and now I wonder if this isn't a leak. Anywho the carpet is beyond repair and was looking to replace. This website came up and about the only reasonable option. Says now the 318 is a 3 piece collection of carpet. Anyone recently sans 2007 deal with this company/product?

                  Item Number: 21909
Notes: This item is a 3pc carpet. PASSENGER AREA AND 2 KICK PANEL INSERTS. THIS WILL NOT FIT THE CONVERTIBLE; heel pad attached – no toepad

I'm going to be ordering it tomorrow for my '89 in black, just a little confused because the site states the carpet goes up to an '86 model. Anyone?

Yeah, their years are kind of screwy. It should fit fine however.

anyone with a recent review? I could only find a thread where people were complaining about the tunnel portion not being centered, causing the driver side to have too much carpet and the passenger side to not have enough.
