dome lights

if both are turned on, are they both supposed to turn on when any of the 2 doors are open (mine is a 2-door), or are they side specific...right dome light to right door and left dome light to left door?

also, both dome lights are the same right...the lens and bulb unit are not specific to each side and are interchangeable???

both of mine turn on when either door is open.

both lights are interchangeable also.
