    Odometer gears

It's time to replace the gears on my odometer. Seems my morning commute went from 26 miles to 12!!! Anyway, is it worth trying used gears or am I just wasting my time? If I need to buy new, where's the best place to buy them? BAVauto, odometers.com, etc.? Any better sources?

    Thanks
    Don

ive seen em at bavauto. thats probably where ill get mine. if you get used ones you risk the chance of them breaking also. after all, its 20 yr old plastic.

i used the bav auto set. The small gear is the first to go but all the other gears are sawgy and have superhard grease on them. Took me about an hour to disasemble and install new gears. Someone broke my odometer stealing my stereo so i have to do it again.
