Foam dust particles shooting out of the front window air vents

Does anyone have this problem of foamy particles shooting out of the front window air vents when they turn on the defog? Do you know what needs to be replaced and where?

HEHEHE, when you swap from recycle interior air to exterior vent, theres a flap that opens and theres a foam strip that must have come loose and gotten eaten by the blower and expelling it into the cabin.

If you want to be proactive and clean it up / replace it, you can access this pretty easily from the engine bay through that pannel on the firewall. Venture inward and youll see exactly what i'm talking about.

I used this rubber filler strip on the pannels behind the rear windows but i think its going to be the exact same thing. I had extra from this job, but i'm gonna need it where you do, doesnt matter, its cheap... oh, ~$5 each. I think you can get by with one strip.

All your vents have the same stuff and all the foam is no good anymore. Next time you have your dash out, use some foam weather strip and go to town.
