Impreza WRX seats in an E30

Is this possible?
around here WRX's are far more common than E30, so i was wondering - can i drop in WRX's / STI / Prodrive Subaru seats instead of my Stock non-sport E30s?
has any1 done this before and can post pics?

No one to my knowledge has attempted this before. If you get some basic measurements of the seat width and the mounting points on the seat, you can see what kind of braket you need to make to adapt the WRX seat to the E30 mounting points.

I tried the 2005 wrx seats. Only works if you can find someone to weld brackets for you. The mounting is completely different. I went to several fabrication shops and they wanted ridiculous amounts for labor

Excactly what i wanted to hear :)
so the size is ok, and all the adjustments are reachable, its just a bracket issue.
i have access to some metal \ CNC machines, so i hope this can turn out ok.
what about the looks? does it look ok?
