i know the problem as this happened to me after installing an aftermarket radio. when you pm'd me yesterday i didnt understand your question.
remove your center console completely first. its not too difficult and shouldnt take long. under the carpet youll find 2 wires running from front to back. you need to tap into both wires and run jumper wires over to your tweeters. this will phase them and allow you to take full advantage of the tweeters with an aftermarket unit. BMW wires their shit weird and you cant run the factory tweeters unless you do this. if you dont mind you should take pics of this procedure and i can have them posted in the "how to" section of the forum. i didnt think to do this when i did my install. it would help others greatly and its a great way to start your membership on the forum. good luck and let me know if you need further help

What blunt said.
Remove rear ash tray, there should be one plastic nut, remove that. Pull the e-brake up, pull the rear console out. Remove the shift boot from the center console and a plastic nut that holds the console, look for two plastic flat head screws towards the front of the car (near firewall, on the passenger and driver sides), turn them 90 degrees. Remove front ash tray, look for two screws above the ashtray that hold the console.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
