Please Help, My Car Is A Lake Inside

So I took out my carpet today because it is always wet. Well I found standing water when I took it out and all the sound deadening material was broken and crumbled apart. The biggest problem I found was that in the drivers side picture there are 2 black plugs and one of them is missing, which allowed water to seep in when raining.

Just Kind of wondering if you guys have any ideas of how to fix it? Should I weld it, do i use fiber glass, or even some sort of sealant. Also where can i get more sound deadening material. I am thinking about using DynaMat instead. Suggestions???? There is also like 15 random drilled holes in the floor probably just going to use sealant on them though.

Does anyone know if the gas pedal is completly removable? I treid and it looks like it is pretty well on there.

The plug was a bit rusty and wasnt really a plug. It was deadening material that plugged. I might just end up wealding it

Check your drains. My firewall drain was pretty much plugged up with pine needles and dirt. It's the elephant trunk shaped plastic bit at the bottom of the firewall access panel, passenger side. Pull it off and clean it out.

My carpet is finally drying out and my windows aren't covered in condensation on the insides every morning now.

Drain was okay. The water has got to be seeping through a crack somewhere. But i figured out that it is coming from the spots wher all the wires from the engine come in thorugh the firewall underneath the pedals. There is a rubber thing around them and it is loose. Going to caulk the shit out of my car when it gets dry

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my car... I'd re-sand and strip all the paint/shit off the underbody and repaint the entire thing...

Costs alot more, but you know you're bound to solve it... :D
