anyone here tried these out? the fronts come in 7 pieces and, from the pictures, they look like a nice tight fit. I'm thinking about taking the plunge but wanted to see if anyone had tried these particular covers.

For $600 you should be able to get at least your front seats professionaly recovered in your area using anything but leather .

Depends on how picky you are, but for that price, i think you can just source out some seats from another e30.

Yeh, it's a lot of money and that's why I was wondering other people's experience. These particular ones seem to be really nice and, talking to the seller, they seem confident that you can't easily tell it's a cover. Sourcing other seats is difficult because it's harder than hell to find great condition cardinal seats, which is what I have and want. Unless someone here is selling seats in great condition? Doesn't have to be red... :)
Other than leather, what route do people go when doing a reupholster?

Seeing as upholstery is what I do for a living here is my 2 cents. I would save a little bit more and have your seats reupholstered. $529 seems kind of steep for vinyl covers. For $700 or less you should be able to have someone do your fronts and rear in vinyl.

Shoot me an email for price. You need to take off your old upholstery and put this in its place as this is replacement upholstery not seat covers. I can do OEM Cardinal Vinyl but the cost is more.

No shit. I had the sport seats in my last E30 not only reupholstered in vinyl/cloth, but the frames repaired and repadded for $650, and they did an amazing job.

You could buy a nice like new interior and be set, for like $500-600? Best option IMO. Because no matter what, theyre still just covers.
