Speedware Motorsports equips the auto racing industry with Arai Helmets, Bell, Hans, Sparco, Alpinestars auto race gear and equipment.

is my preference. website is acting up, so just call

but you can also get the wedge engineer low version. wedge uses the tabs and bolts, whereas the recaro slider used with speedware is flat. i have both, speedware driver and wedge passenger.

This is my old tall recaro bracket. It was used with the height adjustable tabbed slider design, and was way too high for me to sit in the seat with a helmet on.

The low wedge has the bolt holes much lower to the floor, and the speedware does not use tabs but rather the flat slider goes on top with the seat directly attached.

oh yea another question, it looks like you have a small size steering wheel like 350mm or something, does it block your cluster with the recaro's?

Went downstairs to make it clear

Wedge low design with height adjustable (cut) recaro slider

Flat slider directly bolted to bracket. (speedware)

Speedware front. Angled tab instead of vertical for lower seating.

haha I've still got that tall recaro bracket pictured above - I had to go with the wedge flat one as well.

Cream, small wheel wasn't my car, just an example.

Jay, I'm sure there are some short kids on bimmerforums that need a high chair to see over the dash...

How do the height adjustment brackets work? Is it on the fly adjustable like the stock e30 seat, or is it adjustable via bolts?

I've got a pair of style's that I made a very quick/cheap bracket for and I'd like a little more height adjustability.

See the two holes of the tab in front of the Wedge bracket on the floor? Change out the bolts and you'll have a different height. Usually comes with three holes but PO cut the tab so it could be lower, yet not as low as I would like.

Definitely not like stock seats, but adjustable if you have a tool and some time on your hands.
