    Door sill strip installation question

To install a new one, what's the procedure ? Do the white clips need to be attached to the sill strip first and then pressed to the chassis or attached to the chassis and then somehow the door sill strip is installed on top ?

I don't want to break the new strips...

    thanks.

yup, slide the tabs in to the sill, then start a 1 end a get them all started in the holes. After that wack em good with the heel of you hand and should just pop into place. I had too use a small rubber mallet the last time I did this as the door seal wouldn't let it go all the way down with my hand.

Huh, I bought some today and thought I got ripped at $1.04 each. I was just happy they had them.

I have been trying to get those clips for awhile because I broke some last time I took the strip off. Unfortunately bavauto kept sending ones that were too big, and I couldn't find them for a reasonable price anywhere else. I ended up just using a clip in every other hole, and I havn't had any problems.
