sorry... im still here. Pedals may have been a bad hill to take a stand on BUT it leads to one of my biggest peaves. Fake stuff. ACS lookalike pedals arent AS bad but ones with the freakin name on it?

its irritating when people swear that something you own is fake when its not and you constantly have to explain yourself. Like i am right now.

if you dont want to spend x amount on anything then thats fine i dont care. but dont pretend you did by buying exact replicas. Kopi alpinas i dont care... you cant buy 17" alpinas but this is no different then those people on the streets on nyc that sell the fake louis, gucci, fendi, etc. bags

        I hate to say this...

But I'm sure charities everywhere are in love with those expensive pedals.

Well, you've got to waste your money on something, right? Investing it is stupid. Helping others is stupid as well. Why not go waste it on some aluminum nobody will see unless they're inside your car and looking down or if you go out of your way to post pictures of them on the internets?

We're not swearing your stuff is fake, guy. We're making fun of you for constantly wanting to prove that it's real when we're sure it is.

Any of you guys see this from AC Schnitzer's perspective?

I don't really see how the cheap replicas affect AC Schnitzer's customer base. People that want AC Schnitzer and can afford AC Schnitzer will buy AC Schnitzer. Most of those people won't look twice at cheap replicas. At least as far as I've seen.

no, I think it's rediculous not only that they charge that much for aluminun and rubber but that people actually pay for it. Seems kind of elitest.

                          It's business, dude.

Someone else is profiting off the ACS name/logo/reputation. That's wrong.

Hey dude, I never tried to pretend they were "real", look at my original post. For x amount that I did not want to spend those looked the best. I suppose if they were blank I would rather have them, I dont give a shit about the ACS name one bit. Why do I have to explain myself to you anyway. Besides I dont even have my paper work with me.;)

It costs money to know what your doing.

                              or,

Gotta use the little things the Everyday Consumer buys to pay for the things the Uncommon Enthusiast only dreams/lusts of.

These are the two tenets of what I have come to know of the automotive performance parts industry.

You have no idea how true that is.

Hell, the first point is right too. Education costs money, experience costs money, R&D costs money... Don't get me started.
